Can you explain it in your own words?

Riders and horses mixed with surf dudes and sunbathers on Miami Beach over Easter weekend as the world's best show jumpers rode into town for round two of the 2017 Longines Global Champions Tour,
With more than $300,000 in prize money at stake, there was plenty riding on the performances of the 58 riders and horses taking part.
There was a strong home contingent competing for honors, notably world number 1.
However, two-time Olympic champion Ward was eliminated after his horse Rothchild rolled two early poles.
In the end the competition came down to a battle between two Belgium riders: Nicola Philippaerts and Jérôme Guery.
Philippaerts, riding Chilli Willi, set the benchmark with a speedy clear round of 39.50 seconds before Zorzi on Cornetto K took the lead with a faultless effort, stopping the clock at 37.96 seconds.

But it was Philippaerts' compatriot Guery riding Grand Cru van de Rozenberg who stole in to take the title with the final ride of the competition jumping clear in a time of 37.39 seconds.

MY LAST SUMMER Hi, today I'm going talk about my summer holidays. First of all, I'm going to talk about my trip to Ireland and finally, I'm going to talk about my trip to Venècia. Well, when I finished school, on the second week of July I went to Ireland for two weeks. I stayed with another family in a big house with 4 people. In the morning we went every day to the stables for the horses and we rode them for two hours. When we finished the class, we went for a walk with horses in a forest. It was amazing. After that, we went to differents place to visit, for example: shopping centres, big park, cinema... The two weeks went away very quickly and then it was time to return to Banyoles for two weeks and then 3 days to Venècia. Finally, when I arrived home I prepared all the things to go for 3 days to Venècia. It was very nice. These 3 days finished very fast. We visited many places in Venècia. When we arrived in the hotel we slept for two hours and then we went for a w

FORMAL EMAIL

Dear Editor, I’m writing in response to an article I came across yesterday’s edition of your newspaper. I was disappointed to read comments stating that foreign language classes should not be compulsory in secondary schools. As a student of Spanish who is about to do my school leaving exams, I would like to point out the benefits of learning a language. Firstly, there is an advantage of communicating in a one language when you are travelling. Languages can also help your career. When you are searching for a job, you are more likely to get an interview if you list another language on your application form. Next, languages learning is not only allows us to communicate, but also improves our abilities in another areas. Finally, languages are essential in promoting unterstanding between cultures. Kind regards, Berta Crous
