It's nearly September and I've decided to make some resolutions because I want to improve some things in my life before we start school again. Who says you have to wait until New Year?
I promise to be more active in the house. When my parents tell me to help around the house, I won't make an excuse. The next time they asks me to do something, I'll do it.
I'm good at horseball, but the coach says I've need more practise. So I promise to train harder and every day. I need improve my balance but is good. by the time the next season starts, I'll be stronger and faster- I'll be playing for the team in every match!

MAYPOLE DANCING IN MAY

This pagan tradition began in villages in England and Wales in 1350, but in the 1700s the Church banned maypoles. Today, the tradition is celebrated on 1 May. Dancers hold coloured ribbons as they dance around a tree trunk. Today, it's not a pagan festival, but it's food fun!
